Time:2023-12-29

On December 29, the first unit of Beijing Energy International’s Jingcang 100MW (Phase I 4.52MW) distributed photovoltaic project in Dongguang County, Cangzhou, Hebei Province was connected to grid for power generation. This project is the second photovoltaic project promoted by the company in Hebei Province after the 30MW distributed photovoltaic project in Gaobeidian, Baoding, Hebei. The on-grid power generation of this project will optimize local energy structure and economic development and play an exemplary role for local energy transformation.

The project’s photovoltaic modules are installed on the roofs of houses such as Party and government organs, schools and hospitals, with a total installed capacity of 4.52MW. It can supply electricity for its self-use, with the surplus connecting to the grid. After it is put into operation, it will generate 5.75 million kWh of green electricity annually, equivalent to saving 1,759.5 tons of standard coal and reducing 3,279 tons of carbon dioxide every year, providing abundant green clean electricity for the county, further promoting the healthy development of clean energy industry as well as the transformation and upgrading of local energy structure.
