On May 8, Zhang Ping, Chairman of Beijing Energy International, led a delegation to visit Tokyo, Japan, where they met with Li Hao, Executive Director of ORIX Group and President of ORIX Greater China. The two sides held in-depth discussions on deepening cooperation in the new energy sector and promoting the expansion of overseas business.
During the meeting, Li Hao extended a warm welcome to Zhang Ping and his delegation and expressed high recognition of Beijing Energy International’s strategic planning in expanding into international markets. He shared ORIX’s experience in overseas energy investment and asset management, emphasizing that ORIX and Beijing Energy International have established a solid foundation for cooperation and developed strong mutual trust and friendship. He noted that Beijing Energy International has unique resource advantages, a sound industrial foundation, and strong development momentum, offering great potential and promising prospects for future collaboration. He expressed hope that, based on the current market environment and industry trends, both parties would further deepen existing cooperation, enhance integration of industry and finance, and strengthen communication and collaboration in overseas business development to achieve mutually beneficial growth.
Zhang Ping first expressed his gratitude for ORIX’s long-term support to Beijing Energy International and provided a detailed introduction to the company’s main development strategies and future plans. He stated that ORIX and Beijing Energy International share a solid history of cooperation and broad prospects for further collaboration, with highly aligned strategic goals. He hoped both sides would continue to build mutual trust and enhance communication while focusing on their respective areas of strength. He emphasized the importance of deepening practical cooperation in overseas new energy project development, integrated energy, green electricity-based hydrogen and ammonia production, and asset management, with the goal of joining forces to pursue development and jointly promote the global transition to green and low-carbon energy.
The meeting was also attended by Xu Yan, Co-President of ORIX (China) Industrial Holdings, Yasuki Fujinami, Deputy Managing Director of ORIX Asia Ltd., as well as Vice President Huang Hui and Vice President Jia Geng, of Beijing Energy International, among other relevant personnel.
