On November 13, Liu Guoxi, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Trade Union of Beijing Energy International, met in Beijing with Luo Zishan, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of the ASEAN Economic Development Zone of Nanning, Guangxi. The two sides held discussions on deepening cooperation in the field of new energy. 

During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on locational advantages, business areas, and industrial layouts. They agreed that the ASEAN Economic Development Zone of Nanning enjoys favorable development conditions, distinctive advantages, and an excellent investment environment. The development philosophies of both sides are highly aligned, presenting broad prospects for cooperation. Building on the distributed wind power project already under cooperation, both sides will leverage their respective strengths to seek cooperation opportunities in distributed wind power, solar power, PV power, integrated energy services, zero-carbon industrial parks, electricity sales, and other areas. They aim to explore diverse cooperation scenarios, complement each other’s advantages, achieve mutual benefits and win-win results, accelerate project implementation, and jointly support the high-quality development of Nanning’s new energy economy and energy transition. 

Miao Wangshu, General Manager of the Investment Promotion Company of the Guangxi ASEAN Economic Development Zone, and Deputy Manager Fu Lida; as well as Wang Qi, Executive Director of Beijing Jingneng International Integrated Smart Energy Company attended the meeting.
