Time:2025-11-27

On November 27, Li Yuhai, Deputy Party Secretary and President of Beijing Energy Holding (BEH), led a team to Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, to conduct a research visit to the Northern Branch of Beijing Energy International. Heads of relevant departments of BEH accompanied the visit, and the leadership team of the Northern Branch participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, the BEH team listened to a briefing from the Northern Branch on its production and operation, business expansion, project development, and team building. Participants held in-depth discussions on bottlenecks in enterprise development, future planning, and other key topics.

Li Yuhai fully affirmed the strong development momentum and innovative vitality demonstrated by the Northern Branch during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. Regarding the key tasks for the next phase, Li Yuhai outlined the following requirements:

First, accurately grasp industry trends and consolidate the green foundation. Rationally assess the opportunities and challenges of energy transformation, maintain focus on new energy as the primary thrust, deploy projects with technological leadership and sound economic returns, advance the digital and intelligent upgrade of existing projects, and enhance the company’s overall value, environmental sustainability, and innovative capacity.

Second, persist in innovation-driven development to energize growth momentum. In line with the trend toward integrated new energy systems, intensify exploration in areas such as new-type energy storage, multi-energy complementation, and green hydrogen-ammonia-methanol, thoroughly leverage policy incentives and resource potential, and inject new momentum into the company’s high-quality development.

Third, strictly uphold safety as a red line and reinforce the foundation for development. Maintain constant vigilance over workplace safety, eliminate preventable accidents, fortify safety defenses, and ensure stable and secure operations.

Fourth, deepen coordinated efforts and pool resources for shared development. Beijing Energy International’s Northern Branch and Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy Corporations Inner Mongolia Branch must enhance collaboration across projects, operations and maintenance, and market activities, break down barriers, enable resource sharing, and improve overall operational efficiency.

Fifth, strengthen Party-building and build a high-caliber team. Solidly advance the study and implementation of the guiding principles from the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, strengthen grassroots Party organizations, optimize the talent structure, deepen full and rigorous Party self-governance, and drive high-quality enterprise development through high-quality Party building.

Sixth, concentrate on key priorities and achieve simultaneous improvements in quality and efficiency. Optimize the power trading system and build a stronger marketing team; keep a sharp focus on the final-year targets of the “14th Five-Year Plan”, diligently advance core indicators including revenue, profit, and newly installed capacity, legitimately secure policy support in compliance with laws and regulations; strengthen support for key projects such as “Transmitting Inner Mongolia’s Electricity to Beijing”, firmly safeguard Beijing’s energy security, and demonstrate proactive contribution within BEH’s broader development context.
