University of Technology Fangshan New Campus (Phase I)
Time:2026-03-23

On March 23, Beijing Energy International achieved another success in market expansion by successfully winning the bid for the integrated energy project of the Fangshan New Campus (Phase I) of Beijing University of Technology. This marks another important breakthrough in the company’s efforts to pursue high-quality development, deepen its presence in the capital, and expand into the higher education sector, and will effectively promote the optimization and upgrading of the regional energy structure, as well as the coordinated development of the capital’s education sector and the dual carbon goals.

The project is a key educational project in Beijing, with a total gross floor area of approximately 830,000 square meters. As the primary energy service provider for the campus, the company will undertake the investment, construction, and integrated operation of the integrated energy system. The project integrates distributed photovoltaic systems, ground-source heat pumps, chillers, and municipal heating heat-exchange coupled systems, along with a domestic hot water system supported by waste heat recovery heat pumps. In parallel, it will establish an intelligent control system and a smart energy management platform, forming an integrated energy supply network featuring multi-energy complementarity, intelligent regulation, and safe, efficient, and low-carbon operation. The system will fully meet the energy demands of teaching, research, and daily campus operations, creating a model green and smart campus. Upon completion, the project is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 10,518 tons annually, further contributing to Beijing’s energy transition and high-quality economic development.
