Wang Liuhu, Vice President of Beijing Energy International Met with Han Zijun, General Manager of Shaanxi Electric Power Design Institute

On October 11, 2021, Wang Liuhu, vice president of Beijing Energy International met with Han Zijun, president and deputy party secretary of Shaanxi Electric Power Design Institute (“Shaanxi Institute”) of China Energy Engineering Construction Corporation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on strengthening strategic cooperation in new energy. Binglin Li, assistant chief engineer of Shaanxi Institute, Fan Zengshe, deputy chief engineer of New Energy Department, Zhang Tianfeng, deputy general manager of New Energy Company, Liu Lei, general manager of Beijing Energy International North Branch and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.




During the meeting, the two sides discussed the planning and development of comprehensive smart energy of Beijing Energy International’s Shaanxi Hanzhong Aviation Smart New City Project, and exchanged views on the development prospects of energy, investment and new energy and comprehensive energy projects in Shaanxi Province.

Han Zijun said that Shaanxi Institute had been deeply engaged in the power industry for many years, with solid qualifications and strong expertise, especially in new energy and comprehensive energy planning, design and development. He said that Beijing Energy International was a trustworthy partner in a fast development phase. Both parties hoped to launch extensive and in-depth cooperation in energy planning, comprehensive energy and clean energy development and construction, with the Hanzhong Aviation Smart New City Project as the starter.


Wang Liuhu pointed out that Beijing Energy International was an industry champion well known for its rapid development and good reputation with flexible mechanism, meanwhile it was also a pilot SOE for mixed-ownership reform. He said that both parties were highly aligned in new energy investment and construction, and would further strengthen communication, draw on their respective strength, including in branding and market development. Both expressed to establish a long-term strategic partnership, and jointly tap new energy potential and achieve the dual carbon goal.
