On October 22, 2021, Jia Geng, vice president of Beijing Energy International met with Xu Qingyi, magistrate of Zhuxi County of Hubei in Beijing. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges around the development of emerging industries and renewable energy cooperation in the County. Sun Bo, deputy magistrate of Zhuxi County, Yu Wei, director of government office, Yuan Tiankui, director of China Merchants Center, Zhang Pengyuan, deputy general manager of the Strategic Investment Department of Beijing Energy International and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.




During the meeting, Jia Geng extended a warm welcome to Xu Qingyi and his delegation, and briefly introduced current operation and future development of Beijing Energy International. He said that Zhuxi County had an excellent investment environment and abundant natural resources. Under the framework of the strategic cooperation agreement between Beijing Energy Holding and Shiyan City, Hubei Province, the company is ready and willing to join hands with Zhuxi County in promoting the research and planning of clean energy resources, actively explore cooperation opportunities in clean energy, comprehensive smart energy services, multi-functional complementary applications, etc., and contribute to the high-quality development of related industries in the County.


Xu Qingyi said that Zhuxi County was endowed with unique natural resources and emerging industries such as electronics and medicine, more than 300,000 mu (around 49,500 acres) of tea farms and 400,000 hectares of still water in the county, based on which the two sides could develop clean energy industry. He welcomed Beijing Energy International to organize a field trip and develop a viable plan as soon as possible and hoped that both sides would work together to drive industrial investment and create a new mutually beneficial environment among the government, enterprises and the public.
