Recently, with the announcement and release of the list of market-oriented grid connection projects by Shandong Energy Bureau in 2021, Beijing Energy International has won the contract of 282MW clean energy project construction in Shandong, and the independent development of the project has achieved preliminary results.

There are four projects in this batch of contracts, including 112MW agro-photovoltaic project in Guogezhuang, Qixia City, Yantai, 70MW of 200MW agro-photovoltaic project(phase-I) in Huangshanpu, Yishui County, Linyi, 50MW of 100MW photovoltaic project(phase-I) in Ertun, Decheng District, Dezhou, and 50MW of 100MW photovoltaic project(phase-I) in Luge, Laiyang City, Yantai.

The projects are mainly agricultural-related, which will deliver substantial social, environmental and economic demonstration benefits. When it is up and running, about 450 million kwh of clean and green electric energy can be produced annually, saving 136,000 tons of standard coal for the country, and reducing CO2 emissions by 398,000 tons and SO2 emissions by 12,000 tons.

Going forward, Beijing Energy International will strengthen the development of clean energy projects in Shandong and strive to achieve the scale of 1GW by 2022. At the same time, it will speed up the construction preparations of the confirmed projects, ensure that the projects can get started and connected to the grid at the earliest time possible, so as to contribute to the high-quality and rapid development of the company and fully realize its development plan and objectives in its 14th Five-Year Plan period.
