On January 11, 2022, Beijing Energy International and Jiangling Motors Co., Ltd(JMC) signed a framework agreement on investment cooperation of the second phase of distributed photovoltaic project in Xiaolan Economic Development Zone, Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, and simultaneously held the groundbreaking ceremony of the first phase of 63MW distributed PV project. Wu Xiaojun, Vice President of JMC, Zeng Fafa, Assistant President, and Ma Jian, Manufacturing Director; Zhu Jun, President of Beijing Energy International, Zhong Yi, General Manager of Central China Branch and other relevant personnel attended the commencement and signing ceremony.

Prior to the commencement and signing ceremony, the attendees visited the modern workshop of Fushan Factory of JMC.

At the commencement ceremony, Wu Xiaojun and Zhu Jun delivered remarks successively, and the project was officially kicked off.

The phase-I distributed PV Project of 63MW is located in JMC plant area in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. Beijing Energy International is responsible for project development and construction. The project rationally utilizes the existing parking garages in the factory area without occupying land resources, prioritizes local consumption and connects the surplus to power grid. The project has a total installed capacity of 63.05MW, about 325,000 square meters of photovoltaic construction shadow area and an estimated total investment of about 300 million yuan. After the completion of the project, it is estimated that the annual power generation will be about 64.0329 million watt-hours, saving 198.5 million tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 52,122 tons every year.

Finally, the two sides signed an investment cooperation framework agreement for distributed photovoltaic project (Phase II). Beijing Energy International will continue to invest in distributed photovoltaic power generation in the buildings and sites of JMC factory. The planned installed capacity of the project is about 100MW, and the planned investment amount is about 500 million yuan, which will help JMC save energy and reduce energy consumption as well as carbon emissions, and achieve carbon neutrality at an early date.
