Time:2022-12-06

BJ ENERYG INTL is committed to helping our partners overcome the difficulties amid the pandemic. Recently, the Xilingol League of Inner Mongolia is going through a severe test of Covid-19, with huge demand for medical supplies for combating Covid-19 and ensuring a warm living condition for people working on the front lines. In order to relieve the pressure of shortage of supplies, Beijing Energy International, as a pioneer of mixed ownership reform of the capital city, has proactively fulfilled its mission and donated RMB 2 million to Xilingol of Inner Mongolia through the Beijing Red Cross Foundation to support its efforts in fighting against COVID-19.

The funds will be used to purchase urgently needed medical supplies, including medical masks, goggles, protective clothing, disinfection supplies, treatment drugs, etc., as well as supplies to keep warm and provide guarantee for the medical workers on the front lines in their daily life in order to win the battle against the pandemic at an early date.

The company has always been committed to the cooperation between Beijing and Inner Mongolia. Upon learning of the pandemic situation in Xilingol, it responded immediately and made a quick decision to donate two million yuan to support the local government in fighting the pandemic as soon as possible. Going forward, it will continue working with the local government in actively promoting the “10GW Industrial Development Integration Base for the Photovoltaic Project of Sand Control for Ecological Restoration and Rural Revitalization (‘Green Power to Beijing’) in Hunshandake Sandy Land of Zhengxiangbai Banner with the Banner Government in Inner Mongolia” and the “Duolun Project of Hydrogen Storage and Green Ammonia Production from Wind and Solar Energy in Xilingol of Inner Mongolia” (with an estimated electrolytic hydrogen production of 300 tons per day, and an annual green ammonia output of 600,000 tons). While contributing to local economic development, the company has been actively fulfilling its social responsibilities, integrating the industrial chain of Inner Mongolia and the demand chain of Beijing, helping Inner Mongolia consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation, and promote the early realization of dual carbon goals for both places.
