On October 12, 2023, Zhang Ping, chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International visited Zhao Yanfeng, party secretary and director general of Jilin Energy Bureau, Changchun, Jilin Province, and the two sides exchanged on promoting the landing of key projects. Liu Xuefeng, deputy director general of Jilin Energy Bureau; Wu Chaoke, vice president of Beijing Energy International, Li Jian, general manager of Beijing Energy Sembcorp, He Kun, general manager of the Northeast Branch Company and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the two sides agreed on promoting the implementation of new energy and energy storage projects and conducted in-depth exchanges on the industrial layout and future planning. Going forward, they will expand the development of new energy, build a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system under the goal of building Jilin into a major new energy province, contributing to energy transformation and economic development and the early realization of the national dual carbon goal.
