On January 14, Zhang Ping, Executive Director and President of Beijing Energy International, met in Beijing with a delegation led by Li Hongci, Secretary of the CPC Baicheng Municipal Committee in Jilin Province. The two sides held in-depth discussions on deepening cooperation in the new energy sector.

During the meeting, both parties presented their respective industrial strategies and development plans, and exchanged views extensively on new energy industry growth, green fuels, and science and technology innovation collaboration. Both sides agreed that Baicheng boasts outstanding wind and solar resources and a favorable investment environment, while the company enjoys a leading position and strong track record in the new energy field. Their development visions are highly aligned, creating substantial room for partnership. Moving forward, the two sides will build on their existing solid cooperation, fully leverage their respective strengths, explore diverse cooperation opportunities across multiple dimensions, complement each other’s advantages for mutual benefit and win-win results, and work to bring projects to fruition as soon as possible. This will support high-quality green development in the region and provide strong momentum toward achieving the country’s dual carbon goals at an earlier date.
