Time:2026-02-06

On February 5, Beijing Energy International’s Danxia 100 MW, Xinmin 100 MW, Pannan 100 MW, Baotian 100 MW, and Yingwu 90 MW wind power projects in Panzhou City, Liupanshui, Guizhou Province, received approval. This marks another important phased achievement for the company in Guizhou following the approval on February 2 of the Minzhu 100 MW, Laochang 100 MW, and Mayi 100 MW wind power projects in the city. To date, the company has secured approval for a cumulative 790 MW of wind power capacity in Panzhou, further solidifying its large-scale development pattern.

All five newly approved projects are located within Panzhou, and form part of the 1 GW Panzhou wind power cluster for which the company has secured construction quotas. Their combined installed capacity totals 490 MW. Upon commissioning, the projects are expected to deliver approximately 898 million kWh of green electricity annually, equivalent to saving 314,300 tons of standard coal per year and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 785,800 tons annually. These outcomes will provide strong support for optimizing the local energy structure, promoting green and low-carbon socioeconomic development in the region, and advancing Guizhou’s dual carbon goals.
