On March 16, Zhang Ping, Executive Director and President of Beijing Energy International, met in Beijing with Xu Dong, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Energy Engineering Group Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. (TEPC), and his delegation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on further strengthening cooperation in the new energy sector.

During the meeting, both sides outlined their respective business portfolios and future development plans, and conducted in-depth exchanges on the development landscape and key priorities for the energy sector during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. Both sides agreed that the two companies share highly aligned development visions, with a solid foundation for cooperation and broad prospects going forward. Going forward, both sides will build on the consensus reached, strengthen complementarity in resources and technologies as well as coordinated innovation, and deepen practical cooperation in areas such as new energy base development, hydrogen power, and energy storage. They will also actively expand the scope of cooperation and accelerate the implementation of agreed projects, leveraging their combined strengths to achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes. Together, they aim to inject new green momentum into the coordinated development of the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region and contribute to the country’s green and low-carbon energy transition.
