On April 14, Zhang Ping, Executive Director and President of Beijing Energy International, met in Beijing with Xi Shengdong, Vice Mayor of Yuhuan City, Zhejiang Province, and his delegation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on cooperation in areas including the Zhongludao Modern Marine Ranch Complex Project and the high-quality development of the marine economy. 

During the meeting, both parties conducted comprehensive exchanges on the design planning and implementation progress of the Zhongludao Modern Marine Ranch Complex Project. They agreed that it is essential to respond to national strategies, seize the historic opportunities presented by large-scale marine development, and leverage the marine and island resource endowments of Zhongludao. The project aims to develop an integrated complex combining wind and solar energy, computing power, health and wellness, fisheries, and tourism, under an innovative model of “marine ranching + new energy + computing power + health and wellness + cultural tourism”, with the goal of building a multi-dimensional, highly distinctive, and nationally leading benchmark for high-quality marine economic development. Going forward, both sides will take this demonstration project as a foundation, fully leverage their respective strengths, explore cooperation opportunities across marine economy, marine new energy, and marine ranching sectors, identify multi-dimensional application scenarios, complement each other’s advantages, and accelerate project implementation, jointly contributing to the high-quality development of Yuhuan’s marine economy and energy transition.
