On April 30, Beijing Energy International won the bid for the 0.52MW distributed photovoltaic project at the High School Affiliated to Capital Normal University in Haidian District, Beijing, marking another important achievement in fulfilling its role as a state-owned enterprise in serving the capital and promoting high-quality development in Beijing.

The project is located on the teaching buildings of the High School, with an installed capacity of 0.52MW, and adopts a “self-consumption with surplus electricity fed into the grid” model. After commissioning, it is expected to generate approximately 540,000 kWh of clean electricity annually, equivalent to saving about 165 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 325 tons. The project will further promote the capital’s energy transition and economic development, and provide strong support for Beijing’s high-quality development.
