On May 12, Beijing Energy International’s Fangshan Yanhua Engineering 1.26MW Distributed Photovoltaic Power Generation Project obtained filing approval. The success has laid a solid foundation for the company to further expand its presence in the new energy sector and advance its integrated energy services business in Fangshan District, Beijing.

The project is located within the plant area of Yanhua Engineering Co., Ltd. in Fangshan District, with a planned installed capacity of 1.26MW. Adopting the “self-generation for self-consumption with surplus power fed into the grid” model, the project will make full use of factory rooftop resources to develop distributed photovoltaic facilities, thereby maximizing the utilization of idle industrial space and enhancing overall energy efficiency.
Upon completion and commissioning, the project is expected to generate approximately 1.33 million kWh of electricity annually. It is estimated to save around 402 tons of standard coal each year while reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 1,166 tons, delivering remarkable energy-saving and carbon-reduction benefits. The implementation of the project will further optimize the local energy consumption structure, facilitate the capital’s green and low-carbon energy transition, support local industrial enterprises in reducing costs and improving efficiency, and provide strong support for Beijing’s efforts to achieve its “dual carbon” goals and build a new-type power system.
