On May 21, Zhang Ping, Executive Director and President of Beijing Energy International, met in Beijing with Fan Xi, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Baoshan Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Baoshan, Yunnan Province. The two sides held in-depth discussions on further deepening cooperation in the clean energy sector. 

During the meeting, Zhang Ping welcomed Fan Xi and his entourage, expressed gratitude for Baoshan’s long-standing trust and support for Beijing Energy International, and introduced the company’s business layout and future development plans. He noted that the company has consistently maintained a strong presence in the local clean energy sector and regards Baoshan as a key strategic market within its national development portfolio. Moving forward, the company will make every effort to coordinate and resolve bottlenecks and challenges in project implementation, ensuring projects are advanced and delivered at an early date. These efforts will support the improvement of Baoshan’s energy industry, optimize and upgrade the regional energy consumption structure, and provide stronger and more sustainable energy support for high-quality local economic and social development.

Fan Xi highly commended the company’s active contributions to advancing clean energy development in Baoshan and provided an overview of the city’s current industrial development. He stated that Baoshan possesses abundant clean energy resources and broad development prospects, providing a solid foundation for cooperation with the company. He expressed hope that, building on existing projects, both sides would further establish a regularized coordination and communication mechanism, jointly accelerate project implementation, and ensure all projects achieve their scheduled milestones on time. The Baoshan Municipal Government will continue to provide comprehensive support and services to promote mutually beneficial cooperation and create a new win-win model of government-enterprise collaboration.
