On June 5, Liu Guoxi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Labor Union of Beijing Energy International, led a delegation to Wanyuan, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, where he met with Jiang Bo, Secretary of the Wanyuan Municipal Party Committee. The two sides held in-depth discussions on project implementation support, resource allocation, and related supporting arrangements for the Lishu Wind Power Project in Wanyuan. 

During the meeting, Jiang Bo welcomed Liu Guoxi and his delegation. He noted that the Lishu Wind Power Project is a flagship new energy project in Wanyuan and is of great significance for unlocking local wind energy potential, strengthening the local new energy industry, and optimizing the region’s clean energy mix. He added that the project will also contribute to job creation, infrastructure upgrading, and the development of a green industrial cluster. Jiang Bo stated that Wanyuan will continue to strengthen resource support, enhance government service capabilities, and improve administrative efficiency. The city will proactively respond to the needs of enterprises, promptly address challenges encountered during project development, and make every effort to create a favorable environment for project construction. He expressed the hope that both sides would build upon their existing cooperation, expand collaboration into new areas, and jointly develop a benchmark green energy project, thereby promoting high-quality local economic development and achieving mutually beneficial and win-win outcomes.

Liu Guoxi expressed his appreciation to the Wanyuan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal People's Government for their long-standing trust and support for the company. He provided a detailed update on the current progress of the Lishu Wind Power Project and outlined the overall development plan for its next phase of construction. Liu noted that Wanyuan, with its abundant natural resources and favorable business environment, serves as a key strategic hub for the company’s clean energy development in Sichuan. He stated that the company will remain focused on project objectives, refine implementation measures, and ensure the efficient execution of the project. Leveraging its strengths in technology, industrial resources, and professional expertise, the company will actively support Wanyuan’s new energy development strategy, benchmark against leading industry standards, deepen multi-level and all-round cooperation between the company and the local government, promote complementary advantages and coordinated development, and work together to establish a new benchmark for high-quality green energy development.

Also attending the meeting were Ding Xiaowei, Deputy Secretary of the Wanyuan Municipal Party Committee; Li Dan, Deputy Director of the Dazhou Energy Industry Development Bureau; Wanyuan municipal leaders Xiao Yang and He Juan; Huang Hui, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Beijing Energy International; Zhang Bo, General Manager of Zangneng Company; and other personnel from both sides.
