On August 13, Huang Hui, Vice President of Beijing Energy International, met in Beijing with a delegation led by Zeng Ming, Deputy Director General of the Shenyang Municipal Development and Reform Commission of Liaoning Province. The two sides held discussions on cooperation in the fields of new energy and hydrogen-based energy.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged overviews of their respective business layouts and development plans and held in-depth exchanges on key areas, including cooperation in the new energy and hydrogen-based energy industries and the development of the Liaoning-to-Beijing Power Transmission Project. Both sides agreed that the company and Shenyang are highly aligned in their approaches to clean energy development and have broad prospects for cooperation. Going forward, taking the 10th anniversary of the Beijing-Shenyang partnership as an opportunity, the two sides will establish a regular communication mechanism, pragmatically advance cooperation on hydrogen-based energy projects, and actively explore opportunities for the power transmission project. These efforts will help Shenyang speed up building the industrial hub of the “Hydrogen Capital of North China”, advance the high-quality development of Shenyang as a national pilot city for the new power system, and contribute to the country’s clean and low-carbon transformation of its energy structure.
