On September 16, Huang Hui, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Beijing Energy International, led a delegation to Chengdu, Sichuan Province, and visited Liu Shengjin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Sichuan Chuantou Energy Co., Ltd., and his team. The two sides held discussions on cooperation for the high-quality development of Beijing Energy International’s hydropower projects in Sichuan.

Huang Hui introduced the preliminary progress of hydropower projects in the Sichuan region, resource endowments, and the policy window of opportunity for project development. He expressed the hope that both sides would fully leverage their respective strengths in resources, technology, and platforms, seize opportunities for hydropower development, jointly promote the steady and orderly implementation of projects, and contribute to the construction of Sichuan’s clean energy bases.
Liu Shengjin introduced Chuantou Energy’s practical experience in the investment and operation of hydropower development, pumped-storage hydropower, and other projects. He stated that Chuantou Energy attaches great importance to clean energy development and looks forward to further strengthening communication and coordination with Beijing Energy International, exploring mutually beneficial cooperation models, and working together to promote the high-quality development of projects.
Both sides agreed that hydropower projects in Sichuan enjoy obvious geographical advantages and a solid foundation for development. Going forward, the two sides will establish a regularized communication and coordination mechanism, continue to deepen information sharing, develop practical and feasible plans for key cooperation terms and pathways, and jointly serve the overall goal of promoting the green transition of Sichuan’s energy structure.
