On September 24, Zhang Ping, Executive Director and President of Beijing Energy International, and Zhu Jun, Executive President, met in Beijing with Cai Jidong, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of SDIC Power Holdings Co., Ltd., and his delegation. The two sides held a discussion on deepening cooperation in the new energy sector.

Building on the outcomes of their previous round of communication, Beijing Energy International and SDIC Power conducted in-depth and pragmatic discussions on matters related to the implementation of cooperation. Both sides agreed that the two companies share highly compatible development philosophies and highly complementary resource endowments, have already laid a solid foundation for cooperation, and enjoy broad space for collaborative implementation. The two sides exchanged views item by item on the proposed cooperation matters and reached a consensus on the path to deepening the implementation of cooperation in the green and low-carbon business sector. Going forward, the two sides will build on this in-depth consultation to maintain regular communication, fully leverage their respective resource and operational strengths, and focus on practical areas such as developing and implementing new energy projects, coordinating resource deployment, and enhancing the operational quality of existing assets. They will also explore diversified approaches to cooperation, broaden cooperation scenarios, build synergy for coordinated development, achieve complementary advantages and two-way empowerment, and work together to ensure that cooperation projects are implemented and deliver results.
