On August 12, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Beijing Energy International, met in Beijing with Qiao Yinping, Chief Operating Officer of Shanghai Electric and Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group. The two sides held discussions on deepening cooperation in the new energy sector.
During the meeting, both parties presented their respective business areas and industrial layouts, with in-depth exchanges focusing on offshore wind power project development, the application of advanced wind power technologies, and scientific and technological innovation. Both sides agreed that Beijing Energy International and Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group share highly aligned green development concepts, possess leading expertise, and enjoy broad cooperation potential. They expressed the hope that, building on existing cooperation, they will expand cooperation channels, innovate cooperation models, work hand in hand for mutual benefit, and jointly contribute to the early realization of China’s dual carbon goals.
Participants in the meeting included Wu Gai, Vice President of Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group; Ma Wenyong, General Manager of the Marketing Center and Deputy Chief Engineer; and Hao Baoquan, Director of Key Accounts at Beijing Energy International. Also attending were Li Jian, Investment Director of Beijing Energy International; Zhang Pengyuan, General Manager of the Strategic Investment Department; and Liu Jiguang, General Manager of the Business Planning Department, among other relevant personnel.
