On January 4, 2026, a delegation led by Zhang Ping, Executive Director and President of Beijing Energy International visited Shenyang, Liaoning Province, to meet with Huang Zhen, Deputy Chief Engineer of the State Grid and Director of its Northeast Branch. The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the advancement of the “Jilin-to-Beijing Power Transmission” project.

Huang Zhen extended a warm welcome to President Zhang Ping and his delegation. He emphasized that the “Jilin-to-Beijing Power Transmission” project is a cornerstone of the national 14th Five-Year Power Development Plan. He noted that driving the project toward an early commencement is a vital political responsibility and mission for State Grid. The Northeast Branch will provide comprehensive cooperation and service support, focusing on critical phases and collaborating to resolve bottlenecks, thereby ensuring the efficient execution of the project.
Zhang Ping expressed his gratitude to the Northeast Branch for its long-standing trust and support. He provided a detailed update on the current progress and implementation schedule of the project. He stated that Beijing Energy International remains committed to a “Quality-First, Safety-Foremost” approach, advancing the project with high efficiency to ensure it is completed and commissioned as soon as possible.
