On July 19, 2021, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International Holdings Co., Ltd., and his colleagues went to the South China Regional Company for a field visit and held a meeting. He was accompanied by Zhang Daifu, Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee, Jin Xin, Director of Administration and Human Resources, Wang Xiaorui, Director of Legal Affairs, and Miao Chunyi, General Manager of the Audit and Supervision Department. The meeting was also attended by General Manager Hou Zhiguo and Deputy General Managers Gao Zhenyu, Li Xueyong, and Liu Yang of the South China Regional Company.

At the meeting Zhang Ping listened to the report on the work of the South China Regional Company. The participants had an in-depth discussion on the safe production, project development, team building, standardized management and other issues and measures of the Regional Company.

Zhang Daifu said that as Beijing Energy International is improving its management system based on the characteristics of the mixed ownership, the South China Regional Company should also speed up the development of the management system and conduct daily supervision. Firstly, efforts should be made to pay attention to compliance management in business entertainment, official vehicles, and procurement bidding. Secondly, it is important to strengthen material management to ensure that accounts, bank cards, and materials are consistent. Thirdly, it should standardize the management of new projects and conduct final accounting for completion.

Zhang Ping spoke positively of the South China Regional Company’s achievements since the first half of the year, and put forward eight requirements for the work in the next stage. Firstly, efforts should be made to unswervingly implement development goals. Provided that the target of the new installed capacity indicator is met, the grid connection progress of cost conditions of photovoltaic modules are under reasonable control focusing on high-quality development, so that they can stand up to post-evaluation. Secondly, efforts should be made to improve the basic management, pay attention to and solve the problems arising in the mixed reform process, and fully motivate employees. Thirdly, efforts should be made to adhere to and strengthen all-round benchmarking, follow the facts, highlight the problem-oriented approach, and achieve full coverage. The goal decomposition should be scientific and reasonable, conducting in-depth analysis to identify the gaps and making up the shortcomings quickly. Fourthly, efforts should be made to enhance the awareness of innovation. It is necessary to give full play to the advantage of Shenzhen’s location, fully free the mind, give more suggestions on management innovation such as the building of the incentive mechanism, always try something new and actively participate in the efforts so as to provide experience and assistance in the improvement of the company’s solutions. Fifthly, efforts should be made to strengthen the construction of the standard system and risk control system, and realize the integration of principle and flexibility according to the company’s characteristics. Sixthly, efforts should be made to set up the mid- and long-term goals, draw up the 14th Five-Year Plan based on the three-year action, set challenging goals, and fully integrate planning and action. Seventhly, efforts should be made to strengthen team building, reduce communication costs, create a fair, just and energetic corporate atmosphere, and enhance training, so as to create a team that is always competitive, united and efficient with good coordination in work.
