On January 29, 2022, Beijing Energy International signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Chaling County Government of Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province. The signing of this contract is a milestone achievement in developing new energy market in the County following the 12MW rooftop distributed photovoltaic project of Longhua Agriculture and Animal Husbandry. 

According to the agreement, Beijing Energy International will invest in 200MW distributed photovoltaic power station in the county, with a total planned investment of about 800 million yuan. After assessing the local resource endowment, the project will be planned and implemented in a coordinated way. At present, Beijing Energy International has begun to select sites in the County, and fully expediate the project to be landed. 

Chaling County has outstanding geographical advantages, reaching Changsha in the north, Guangzhou in the south, Hengyang in the west and Jiangxi in the east, with full-fledged infrastructure, abundant available rooftop and solar resources as well as agricultural resources. Additionally, the county also has booming agriculture, industry and commerce, cultural, sports, tourism, sophisticated power grid, considerable power consumption and transmission capacity.

After the completion of the project, it will further promote local employment, regional economic development and rural revitalization, enabling itself to become a low-carbon one, an energy-saving and environmental protection front-runner, and a new energy base in Hunan Province.
