On September 29, 2022, Beijing Energy International, Shandong Longma Holding Group and PowerChina Jiangxi Electric Power Construction held talks with Tongliao Municipal Committee and Municipal Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and the participants exchanged on wind power projects and the promotion of equipment manufacturing base construction. Meng Xiandong, member of the Standing Committee of Inner Mongolia and party secretary of Tongliao Municipal Party Committee, Guo Yufeng, deputy secretary of Tongliao Municipal Party Committee and mayor, Morigenbatu, member of the Standing Committee and secretary general of Tongliao Municipal Party Committee, Wang Yong, deputy mayor, and heads of relevant regional and municipal departments; Zhang Ping, chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International, Jia Geng, vice president, Fan Liyun, chief engineer, and Liu Lei, General Manager of Beijing Energy International North Branch; Fan Xianguo, chairman of Longma Holding Group, Deng Jianshuang, executive director, Qu Fengzeng, general manager of Longma Heavy Industry Group of Inner Mongolia; Li Honglin, deputy general manager of PowerChina Jiangxi Electric Power Construction, Xiong Jianming, assistant general manager, and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Zhang Ping thanked Tongliao Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government for their strong support and trust for Beijing Energy International. He said that Beijing Energy International has always regarded Tongliao as an important strategic place for development. Going forward, the company will further strengthen communication with Tongliao Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, keep a close eye on the construction period, timeline and key milestones, solidly promote all the preliminary work, fully fulfill the responsibility, accelerate the construction process of wind power projects, and help Tongliao transform its energy into green and low carbon. At the same time, Beijing Energy International, together with strategic partners, will fully promote the construction of wind power machinery and equipment manufacturing base, give full play to the advantages of all parties, promote the early implementation of the park construction, and elevate local economic and social development to a new level.

Meng Xiandong said that the government welcomes the communication and alignment between Beijing Energy International, Longma Holding Group and PowerChina Jiangxi Electric Power Construction. He said that Inner Mongolia has attached great importance to Tongliao’s new energy development and construction and extended strong support to it. At present, the construction of Tongliao’s wind power equipment manufacturing base and the second batch of wind power projects under national “big energy base” have reached a critical period. It is hoped that the three companies will increase their support for the wind power equipment manufacturing base, coordinate with each other, and promote the construction of the wind power equipment manufacturing base project with high quality according to the overall construction plan, so as to accomplish this year’s task and develop next year’s target task in an accurate manner. He required that the relevant departments directly under the municipal government should assume their respective responsibilities, help enterprises solve practical problems, and promote rapid progress and good effect of the project. Relevant departments and areas should set up special team to provide service guarantee and create favorable conditions to expedite the construction of the project.
