On June 17, Beijing Energy International’s 3.3MW distributed photovoltaic project in Xiacun Village, Shilou Town, Fangshan District, obtained approval from the Fangshan District Development and Reform Commission. This milestone marks another critical step in the company’s strategic green energy expansion in the capital, reinforcing its core development philosophy of “being rooted in Beijing and serving the capital” while laying a solid foundation for achieving green, low-carbon, and sustainable development goals.
Located in the western part of Xiacun Village, within the premises of Beijing Dalu Guangyi Aquatic Research Center, the project has a total planned installed capacity of 3.3MW and operates under a “full grid-connected” model. Upon completion, it is expected to generate approximately 3.63 million kWh of clean, green electricity annually—equivalent to saving around 1,096 tons of standard coal and reducing CO2 emissions by nearly 3,184 tons. The project will further optimize the local energy structure, support Beijing’s energy transition, and contribute to the city’s dual-carbon goals.
