On June 18, Beijing Energy International successfully held its 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Hong Kong. The meeting was attended in person by Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board; Li Hongwei, Independent Non-Executive Director; Wang Cheng, Non-Executive Director; Liu Dongsheng, Vice President; and Huang Hui, Chief Financial Officer. Other directors, shareholder representatives, and professional advisory teams joined the meeting online. 

All resolutions proposed at the AGM were passed with overwhelming support. These included the audited consolidated financial statements for the year 2024, the reports of the Board of Directors and the auditors, dividend distribution, re-election of directors, authorization for the Board to determine directors’ remuneration, re-appointment of auditors, and the share repurchase mandate. During the meeting, the management team also provided detailed responses to questions raised by minority shareholders attending in person, who expressed strong recognition of the company’s development.

Standing at a new starting point with assets exceeding RMB 100 billion and an installed capacity surpassing 10 million kW, the company will continue to seize opportunities amid the global energy transformation. Guided by its development strategy of “focusing on core business, deploying nationwide, and expanding globally,” and centered on high-quality development, the company is accelerating the creation of a clean energy industry ecosystem that is green-dominant, multi-energy complementary, and smartly coordinated.
