On July 25, Beijing Energy International’s 4MW distributed photovoltaic project, located at Shoujian Environmental Protection in Chaoyang District, Beijing, was successfully registered with the Chaoyang District Development and Reform Commission. This marks another solid step forward for the company in supporting the development of green energy in the capital.

The project is situated within the premises of Beijing Shoujian Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. in Chaoyang District. It utilizes the rooftop space of the facility to build a 4MW distributed PV power station, operating under the model of “self-consumption with surplus power fed into the grid.” Once operational, it is expected to generate nearly 4.09 million kWh of clean, green electricity annually. This is equivalent to saving about 1,258 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by roughly 3,935 tons. The project will strongly support the green upgrade of the premises’ energy structure, contribute to the capital’s energy transition, and provide momentum for the early realization of Beijing’s dual carbon goals.
