On August 8, Beijing Energy International’s Xinxinyanyan 1.3 MW distributed photovoltaic project in Liqiao Town, Shunyi District successfully passed review by the Shunyi District Development and Reform Commission and was officially registered. This marks another important achievement for the company in advancing the development of green energy in Beijing.

The project will utilize the rooftop of a cold storage facility to build a 1.3 MW distributed photovoltaic power station. It will be connected to the grid under the “self-consumption with excess electricity uploading to the grid” model. Upon commissioning, the project is expected to generate approximately 1.1683 million kWh of green electricity annually, equivalent to saving about 258.66 tons of standard coal and reducing nearly 1,121.54 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. This will further optimize the local energy mix, promote the development of green logistics, and help accelerate Beijing’s progress toward its dual carbon goals.
