On September 22, Chen Liang, Party Secretary and Chairman of China International Capital Corporation (CICC), and Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Beijing Energy International, led a delegation to Yueyang City, Hunan Province, to jointly visit Xie Weijiang, Deputy Secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Yueyang Municipal Party Committee. The parties held discussions on deepening cooperation in fields such as energy. 

Xie Weijiang, on behalf of the municipal Party committee and government, welcomed Chen Liang, Zhang Ping, and their delegation, expressing gratitude for the support of CICC and Beijing Energy International in promoting Yueyang’s economic and social development. He noted that Yueyang is actively implementing the decisions and deployments of the Central Committee and the work arrangements of the provincial Party committee and government, proactively serving and integrating into the new development pattern, accelerating the establishment of a “1+3+X” modern industrial system, and playing a significant role as a major economic city. He expressed hope that CICC and Beijing Energy International would strengthen cooperation with Yueyang in areas such as capital operations, think tank services, and industrial integration to achieve win-win development.

Chen Liang and Zhang Ping briefly presented their companies’ profiles. They stated that Yueyang boasts clear geographical advantages and strong development momentum, and they will enhance communication and coordination with Yueyang to deepen pragmatic cooperation and better contribute to Yueyang’s high-quality development.

The meeting was attended by Li Zhi, Deputy Secretary of the Yueyang Municipal Party Committee and Mayor; municipal leaders Li Jianhua and Li Jinsong; Jia Geng, Vice President of Beijing Energy International; Yang Dong, General Manager of the Financing Management Center; and other relevant personnel.
