On October 29, Beijing Energy International’s 2.5 MW distributed photovoltaic project at Haidelisen in Daxing District successfully passed the review of the Daxing District Development and Reform Commission and completed the registration process. This marks another important achievement for the company in advancing the development of green energy in Beijing.

The project is located in Huangcun Town, Daxing District, Beijing, and involves the construction of a 2.5 MW distributed photovoltaic power station on the rooftop of the Haidelisen Industrial Park. It will be connected to the grid under the “self-generation for self-use, surplus electricity fed to the grid” model. Once operational, the project is expected to generate about 2.79 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity annually, equivalent to saving 855 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 2,675 tons per year. The project will provide strong support for the park’s green energy transition, play a positive role in optimizing the regional energy structure and increasing the share of clean energy supply, and contribute to Beijing’s efforts to achieve its dual carbon goals at an accelerated pace.
