On November 18, the groundbreaking ceremony forBeijing EnergyInternational’s Zhuxi Combined Heat and Power Generation(CHP)Integrated Energy Project in Xinhui District, Jiangmen, Guangdong, was held. Thismarks the start of the project’s construction phase. This represents another crucial step forward inthe company’s strategic development in the gas turbine sector.

The project is locatedin Gujing Town. Its main construction includes two 2×75 MW gas-steam combined-cycle units. Key components include the procurement and installation of core equipment such as gas turbines, steam turbines, and heat recovery boilers, along with the simultaneous development of a dedicated natural gas pipeline, a heating network system, and other supporting auxiliary facilities. Once operational, the project is expected to generate an average of 700 million kWh of electricity annually, equivalent to saving approximately 66,600 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by around 163,800 tons. The project will support the upgrading of the local energy structure, realizing simultaneous improvements in industrial and environmental benefits. It will inject strong momentum into the green and low-carbon development of the New Materials Industrial Cluster Area and provide a solid energy foundation for the high-quality economic and social development of the entire district.
