On October 8, Beijing Energy International’s 1.3 MW distributed photovoltaic project at Xinxinyanyan in Liqiao Town, Shunyi District, Beijing, was successfully connected to the grid, marking another significant achievement in the company’s efforts to advance Beijing’s green energy development.

The project has a total installed capacity of 1.3 MW and operates under a “self-consumption with surplus electricity fed into the grid” model. Once operational, it is expected to generate approximately 1,168,300 kWh of green electricity annually, equivalent to saving about 258.66 metric tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 1,121.54 metric tons. The project is expected to deliver strong social and economic benefits and contribute to building a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient modern energy system in the capital.
