On October 12, Beijing Energy International’s Jingang 0.64 MW distributed solar PV project in Mafang Town, Pinggu District, Beijing, successfully achieved full-capacity grid connection and commenced power generation. This marks another important achievement for the company in advancing green energy development in the capital, further demonstrating its commitment to serving Beijing and fulfilling its responsibilities in support of China’s carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.

The project has an installed capacity of 0.64 MW and operates under a “self-consumption with surplus electricity fed into the grid” model. Upon commissioning, it is expected to generate approximately 797,100 kWh of green electricity annually, equivalent to saving approximately 240 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 699 tons. The project is expected to deliver substantial social and economic benefits, further supporting the capital’s energy transition and economic development.
